Rates and Terms of Contract The rates are based on the length and the level of technicality of the source text. My rates vary between 0,10 and 0,20 euros per source language word. It is possible to receive a 10-20% discount on large projects. To be considered as a large project, the text must be minimum 10 pages long (one page contains 1560 characters). The minimum charge for short translation projects is 20 euros. Proofreading is charged by the hour. If you wish to receive a free price estimate, please fill in the price estimate form. The more details about your text you submit, the more accurate price estimate I will be able to provide. If you would like to receive a firm price quote, please submit the text in full by e-mail. I am a member of the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters (SKTL) and the terms of contract specified by SKTL apply to all translation projects.
